Hey, I’m Kris
I’m Kris, a lifelong dog lover and the person who created this space.
Just like you, I adore dogs. My first dog, Bobby, came into my life when I was six. Like most new dog parents, my family had endless questions: what to feed him, how to keep him safe, why he did the things he did.
That curiosity became this newsletter. Together with fellow writers and dog-savvy experts, we research and share clear, helpful answers to the questions dog owners actually have.

Hey, I’m Tilla
I’m Tilla, 36, and I write the newsletter, combining my two passions: writing and dogs.
I originally studied German and History, but it wasn’t for me, so I trained as a veterinary assistant instead. I loved the hands-on work, surgeries, lab tests, and all, but full-time positions were scarce.
Then my son came along, and I became a full-time mom. A few years later, I picked up writing again, one of the best decisions I’ve made. I love the research and sharing what I learn in a clear, honest way.
Many stories in my articles come from my time at the vet clinic, my own pets, or friends’ dogs. I know more dogs than I can count!
